Caring Hearts

The UCR Caring Hearts Team offers several services to our church family who would like additional support during a challenge and also to celebrate your good news. Confidentiality is adhered to according to your preferences and needs.  You are held in prayer.

We can offer a fresh meal to you and your family according to your dietary needs, we will keep in touch with you through an occasional phone call, make a visit at your request, run errands as you need, and offer appropriate affirmations to lift your spirits.  We also provide a list of Community Resources if additional support is needed.  We appreciate the opportunity to offer our help and service so please ask and share with us.  Assistance is always a blessing to those who are happy to serve you.

It is our joy to provide nurturing support and comfort to our UCR spiritual family in times of challenge.

The wisdom and strength of the Christ within perfectly guides our service and we remain revitalized, renewed and fulfilled!

Our Hospitality Team is a wonderful group of volunteers who provide us with delicious treats after every service.  They are the backbone of all our special events that require an extra touch.  They include the smiling folks who are there with our ushers togreet you if you are a first-time guest to Unity Church of Raleigh, willing to help you, introduce you or just offer a smile that says we are glad you are here.

Our Mission:

To genuinely receive and welcome each soul into the home of UCR with grace and love so as to create a place where all may find deeper connections with each other and discover or embrace their path to Spirit.

Our Intention:

The intention for hospitality is: UCR is a place that has a warm, friendly and positive environment. Hospitality is not just nourishing to the body but to the soul as well.

This integral team brings our wonderful Sunday message and music to life each week for congregants, working behind the scenes to deliver great sound. From regular Sunday services to our 5th Sunday Concerts with The Unity Singers, this expert team works magic with all things audio.

Not only that but, if you want to hear what you've heard on Sunday again, well, the sound team takes care of that too.  A vital part of the sound ministry is the production of our popular Sunday CDs, for sale minutes after each Sunday morning service.

So whether you come to listen, come to listen and then want to hear it again, this is the team that makes it all happen here at UCR.  For access to current and previous services available through audio streaming, visit our Audio Services page.
