A Positive, Uplifting
I was visiting with a friend this week and was reminded of this thought about bees:
"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible."
Albert Einstein famously said, “The way I see it, you have two ways to live your life: one, as if no miracles exist and the other, as though everything is a miracle.” To be open to the miraculous is to be open to impossible things becoming possible. It is a stance toward life that is fundamentally hopeful, one that places confidence in God always, and is especially confident when all other sources have run out.
So, if there is something that you would like to do, or be, or accomplish and you feel like it is impossible, maybe it’s time to stop thinking in terms of impossibilities and start thinking in terms of possibilities. You will be surprised at how many doors open and how many paths unfold.
This week, let’s let our prayer be: “Father/Mother God, I am open and receptive to Your guidance and direction; I know that my path will be made clear and my life will be fulfilled.”
As we affirm: “With God, all things are possible.”
